I’m going to hell for this…
If I believed in hell. So far the gem of Gencon this years is the boardgame called Blasphemy. It’s a 4-player game where all players start out as the perspective messiah and the goal is to get crucified. It’s a little pricey ($100) but it’s all wood/cloth hand made pieces and the sheer fact it offended two people standing outside of the con made it worth the price. I commend ballsey game companies and hope the push the envelope with more products soon. Oh, the art direction of the game is fantastic.
I’s Making Me an Arcade!
Yep! It’s been a looong while. I’ve been pretty busy with a bunch of other crazy projects I probably will never get around to finishing bit I got the parts and I know I’ll get this one done. I’ll post more as it starts shaping up. I bought a cabinet for $90 and am refitting it as a MAME cabinet. Then I’m going to take over the world with it or something. This is what it looks like so far. (I apologize, the iPhone takes shitty pictures by garage light)

Konami needs to hire spellchecks..
Was watching the Metal Gear Solid Saga Promo DVD and saw this:
They really need to hire a new spell checker, or a new media company.
Looks what I dids…
Yup. Despite the fact that I own a pretty kickass macbook pro, I wanted to get my hands dirty and create an ”illegitimate” mac baby from “frankensteined” parts! It’s almost there, just need to get the graphics accell drivers working. I’m pretty stoked considering I only paid about $400 for the thing using an old case/power supply. I’ll post a cost breakdown/parts list when it’s done.

Lost Odyssey: Fluffy Steamed Cakes?
I was playing Lost Odyssey and stumbled upon the recipe in a book in a the house of Sanuman, in the city of Namura. The recipe/description is as follows:Great Snacks for Kids! Sweet, fluffy steamed cakes are a hit among children everywhere. Add in some fruit for a novel delight. Ingredients:
- Eggs
- Milk
- Sugar
- Flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- Fruits (as many as you like)
First, sift the flour and baking powder. Mix the eggs, milk, sugar and salt in a bowl and beat well, then blend in sifted flour and baking powder.Cut the fruit into small pieces and work into the mix, leaving a small amount to decorate the finished cake later. Put the mix into molds and place into the steamer.Put in a toothpick and check if it comes out clean. If it does, the steam cake is done. Dress it up with various colorful fruits to dazzle your children. Best served hot with tea.Not sure what the ratios for ingredients but if I have a spare moment I’ll look up and possibly make steam cakes for shits and giggles and post the results.Â
